I went on a nice hike in some of the high peaks in the smokey mountains. Hard to beat having this 10 minutes from my house. It was 82 degrees at my house which is at around 2700 ft and upper 50s up where I was which was in the 5500 to 6200 ft range.

Beautiful country! I was down there a couple of lives ago with my 2nd wife. I have pictures somewhere unless the mice have chewed them up.

I used to drive the AMTRAK bus to Santa Barbara, CA. With a 9 hour layover for the trip back, I'd spend the day walking around with a camera.
