So every week theres this "pixel river" competition with one open category and one professor chosen category. This weeks challenge category is "before Dawn" the translation into the photo does not have to be literal. I was thinking about the phrase "its always darkest before dawn" and using that somehow. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Portraiture of a chemo patient? Find a way to emphasize the pain in the eyes, but add a spark of subtle determination. Shoot in a higher contrast black and white, possibly have the subject with a lit match in one hand and a very white unlit candle in the other.
If only I knew someone...I like the idea but Idk about asking a hospital nurse to take pictures of potentially dying people. I like the burning match and unlit candle. hmm... Maybe I can figure out a way to make some bars and flash my strobe through it while someone is backed into a corner looing bruised, but not beaten
ok I came up with this... before dawn = before sunrise = sunny side up (my thought chain) so I'm going to draw some faces or maybe not on some eggs walking the plank to the frying pan
