1984 is here anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying to you or a fool.

  2. Ehh. Whatever. Might as well join a nudist colony and play some volleyball.

This is great, I wasn't sure if we would see Obama unmasked during his administration. This is good for liberty.

  5. Okay pretty much knew this

  6. And?

Do you believe its a good thing?

  7. Has the world always been this shit?
Our once favourite Tech companies don't pay tax
Our banks rig the global system
    Our energy companies fix prices
    Our newspapers hack mobile phones
Our politicians take back handers at will
Western government think its 1984 - and take our rights away from us in the name of freedom and protection.
The richest run the whole god-damn thing
    Yeah it probably has.
\nAnd of course, all this spying on us means that there's no way anyone could mount a revolution any more. Revolution = terrorism nowadays.
The rich pay the politicians (our representatives, but their pals) to use our taxes (they don't pay any) to install laws and technology in the name of the fight against terrorism, with the principal objective of making sure we can't change anything about the way they run the world.

  8.
You don't need guns or picket signs to mount a revolution, just your imagination and a cohesive state of mind. You choose to live your life. Choose your lifestyle accordingly and forget the rest.

  9.
Not so much. These actions take place regardless of who occupies the oval office. These actions come to no surprise for most people.

  10. On the contrary, most people have no idea the full scope of this stuff. I think he was reffering to how Obama slamed Bush for all the domestic spying but then under Obama it is even more so accerlerated.

It can yield some good effects, although it is mostly quite bad.

There is likely a ton of legislation to be consolidated and real leaders with actual power or influence to step up In order to fix this problem. It's a lost cause wasting my breath about it right now.

The American people need to be mobilized, as largely one unified body, no matter what neighborhood, city, county, or state. But do you see that about to happen? The political correctness, telling people what they want to hear rather than what is real, being pussies, that must all change before the American people mobilize. Before the american people actually know what is going on and are truly in control of their own lives and can impact their own communities.

The problem.is the two party system.

Its intentionally.created to split the population keeping us.from getting together on real.issues

  16. Yessir. Maybe in the past the 2 party system was more justifiable but today it's laughable.

  17.
    LOL, Yeah it's all Obama.

Quote -In 2006, USA Today's Leslie Cauley reported the NSA was secretly collecting call records with data from AT&T, Verizon, and BellSouth. - End Quote

It has been going on a lot longer then even the 2006 date. The reasoning behind it is twisted thinking. :smoke:

CORRECTION! After realizing this, I'm 50/50 on this. You could call it not caring.

Didn't the gov do this with AT&T? This sounds like a more beefed up Patriot Act or something.
