Okay, So im planning on getting a tattoo and I pretty much know what I want.... I want a Phoenix Rising from the ashes, but I want it highly original, under it in Mandarin Chinese I want Peace Love and Understanding written...It respresents the problems I have had, and how I rose above them and then what I realized was really important in this world. Anyway my question is, does anyone have any original drawings of phoenix's on this thread? I guess I dont expect any, just bored, and hey if it's cool enough I could get your initials added on the side or something .
That's actually really cool, I too have been looking for images all around the net and am starting to save them all in a folder, If I cant find one maybe I can point someone in the right direction to draw one for me. Thanks
not that that isnt a really cool image but you should try and draw your own composition. this tattoo is something that will be with you forever and you want to make it yourself and be proud of it. its awesome how youve actually thought about this and chosen something that means something to you. i would recommend looking up different types of birds and other artists artwork for inspiration. best of luck
In general phoenix tats are very common. But the way u make it sound is really interesting, and your doing it for the meaning. good luck with it. post up once u get it... hopefully in the near future. PS!!!! my sis got a tat of a rose on he waist, and if she had waited a little longer she oculd have found a way better tat artist and better image. Moral is, dont rush to get it done, make sure it will look good and you wont be dissapointed. (my sis likes hers actually, but it could be way better)

Thanks for the feedback guys, Im thrilled interest sparked in this after it being up for a while . Vicious, that's reallly cool. Alot better than the one's I can find on the internet (barely any), If you have time and feel like it draw some more on it! One thing I was thinking about was after that tat was complete, I wouldnt want it to squarish if you know what I mean.... The phoenix and then the lettering under it.... Ive been giving alot more thought on the tattoo and am thinking about including some other things on it.....I guess I couldnt get another quote on it, that would look odd...but If I could I would want it to be "An unexamined life is not worth living"(-Socrates) Also does anyone know any symbols for... Unity? Oneness? Uniqueness? I dont want these all on it, just curious
