Philosophical/Humor Books

  1. Want a good suggestion? The Tao of Pooh. Converse with the author as he explains to Pooh the general idea of Taoism. Explore the thought processes of all Pooh's friends and where it gets them. Have a laugh every now and then as you realize how insignificant our 'struggle here on earth' is.

Now that I've shared, anyone have a suggestion for me?

  2. Tao of Pooh is a great book.

Breakfast with Buddha by Roland Merullo. Its about an average guy who's skeptical of any religion going on road trip with a famous Buddhist monk. Its very entertaining with a bit of humor thrown in and at the same time touches on the fundamentals of the Buddhist philosophy.

haha I grabbed a copy of The Tao of Pooh the other day while I was out book scouting just because the title amused me. Haven't gotten a chance to look over it yet though. I did however notice there is a sequel to it 'The Te of Piglet'
