Philips 120 watt Agro-Lite?

what kind of bulb is it? incandescent, florescent tube, cfl, hid (mh or hps)......
i've read that the "grow light" florescent tubes suck, but have no experience with them. regular floro tubes put out more lumens though.

 

well if you already have the light, give it a try. Take pictures for us every other day so we can watch their progress. I've seen these lights at home depot, but I was always too afraid to give them a shot.

 

It looks just like the coloured incandescent spotlights that I used to decorate my apartment back in the 70s. They were trendy then.

I think this will get the thumbs down.

 

dont wast the cash on them thare pretty much a 150 flood light with a blue coating they throw more heat than any thing they have no lume raiting so who knows how much they put off. get a shop light that takes fluro tubs or get cfls best bet if your not going hps or mh
