I have 4 plants all pretty much different looking all seeds of the same strain was wondering if I should try to flower all of them 1 or 2 look very skinny and I was thinking of just getting rid of them so I don't waste energy on something that won't produce much I usually grow from clone so I am not sure what to do at this point I could use a little advice
getting rid means giving them away not killing them lol i know i have too many to try and flower out all the others are clones and no big deal i just want to make the most of my space
(using light color to sculpt you plants) ....1 or 2 look very skinny! its because of the kelvin you use coming outta the metal halides the cool light (photons) are at 6500K compared to the warm white of the hps at about 2400K this makes a short squat plant over the hps @ 2400K that makes a tall spindly plant I had the same issue just yesterday, my seedlings were looking too stretched ( under cfl's of daylight at 4200K) so I have then now under 4 cool white cfls to broaden the leaves some, for the nest 2-3 days cheers
Are all the plants getting the same amount of light(phone lux meter)? You can't tell which plants are the best at this stage, some healthy large stretch plants can grow massive buds.
i see 15 to 25 ounces if you flipped to flower today. . Just flower them all. 10 inches veg tall perfect for your situation
the other issue is the clones are either super critical or white widow from my last grow i didnt mark them and the 8 ft tall plant i took them off is gone so its a crapshoot i was hoping on the white widow but until they flower there is no way to tell and the SC that i flowered i was not happy with at all hardly any frost and very airy buds 1 of the moby seeds looks stalled out but yes Brian i will probably flip sooner than usual but not just yet
When will you flip to 12/12 Yeah i see that one not growing so tightly . That one plant would be one i would scrap if i was lacking room
