  1. what's the best ph to keep your water @?

  2. pH of pure water is 7 by definition of pH.

  3. If you're talking about hydro, 5.5 - 5.8 is ideal.

  4. THANKS, SOME SAY THE BEST IS 6 TO 6.3.
I THINK I'LL KEEP MY WATER @ ABOUT 5.9 IN THE TANK.

NEW QUESTION. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GIVE YOUR NEW BORN BABYS SOME FOOD AND WHAT PPM SHOULD THE FIRST FEED BE?
WHEN THIER BIG GIRLS I KEEP THE NUTRIENTS @ 1400 PPM.
    WHAT DO YOU THINK?

  5. You'll find out that it can get up to 6.3 with no problems but your nutrient mix should be between 5.2 - 5.8.

For their first feeding try not to go higher than 250 ppm, just to be safe...no matter what brand of ferts you're using. It also depends on how old they are.

  6. Thanks Vatoloco,
    I will try that.
hey are about a week old.

    Regards Venko

  7. what about fishtank water....lol...my fishtank water is about same ph....6.0......bunch of fat fish...crapping all the time.....doesnt seem right but though id ask.

  8. Thaks for the wisdom Ironman.

  9. Sounds fine...just be sure to take the fish out first lol. Also be sure to get new pH Up and Down...the aquarium stuff will work for now but you should really get the pH adjuster from the hydro store.
