  5. What's your plan for this mix? Are you trying to mix your own organic soil or are you planning on growing with bottled nutrients?
The reason I ask is because soil and coco don't really mix well for either application. Organic soil or hydro+bottles with coco.

  6. I transplanted to miracle grow, but left most of the root ball which was initially grew in coco medium so there’s a slight mix in medium. After doin a little research I’m gonna finish out with miracle grow and bottled nutes.

  7. Yeah what scoobie said mate.
Coco is hydroponics and needs to be watered constantly at ph 5.5- 6.5.
You do that to a soil plant and you’ll kill it in a week.
Haven’t been watching mr Canuk have you lol.

  8. This is my second grow so help if u see very obvious rookie moves, I’ve completely ruined my largest GSC plant by transplanting and damaging a huge root system I didn’t expect to be there (we’re talking adult size rooting) and it’s slowly reviving, haven’t given it any nutes since the “Droopy phase has hit

  9. Since you are already in MG soil I suggest you continue with your plan. I will recommend you consider mixing a proper organic soil for your next round, you will get much better results than with a MiracleGro product, and it will be organic.

Here are a couple of threads with info on how to mix your own soil, should that interest you:

  12. Haha knew it straight away mate. That’s how obvious it was. He’s literally the worst grower on earth and doesn’t have the slightest clue about what he’s doing.
don’t watch him man. He kills more grows round here than over paid hydro store guys and cats put together!

  14. Honestly yeah mate lol. he does all sorts of really dumb shit.
Putting stuff into coco is a really bad idea for too many reasons to list.
Treat coco properly and you can drop a half kilo per plant in 15L pots.
Put amendments in it and do things his way you get 3oz of overfed, half fucked ditch weed.
When shit goes wrong there’s no way to fix it because flushing coco with amendments in it just makes matters worse so all you can do is ride it out and hope they survive. get people on here every other day panicking with half dead plants from following his methods.
can’t get my head round why so many people follow him. Does he give away free weed for likes or something?

  15. I will say the cocoa and soil mix gave me roots like I’ve never ever seen, unfortunately I ruined them during transplant but not completely.

  17. Yeah, Mr Canuck is not a good grower to follow. Either choose Coco/perlite and take the bottles or powdered nutes route. Or make your own living soil and reuse over and over again with minor inputs and if you dive into Korean Natural Farming techniques, your nutrients are all around you in daily life. It’s truly amazing and cheap. Just need some big pots, organic amendments, soil microbes, and worms.
