Ph of water at 5.8 how do I raise it?

  1. So I want to give my plant a bit of nutrients before flowering starts. I put in 1/4 teaspoon of grow big and from my 7 pH of distilled water, it went down to a PH of 5.8 since this is too acidic, will diluting it help? (As in, simply adding like a 1/2 gallon more of water of water to the feed?) Thanks guys! I want it at 6.5 btw.any suggestions on how much more water id have to add?

  3. thats something youll have to figure out on your own..add water and monitor pH

Make a diluted solution of acid and water (pH 4-5), and use that to pH adjust your feed.
If you use acid directly in your feed, pH will jump. Or dont use a teaspoon, use a dropper

  4. don't listen to this guy. get some ph up for starters. if you add more water to dilute then this just lowers the strength of your nutes. for the time being add a small amount of baking soda to raise ph. check then repeat if necessary. excessive use can cause calcium buildup so get the ph up asap.

  5. I believe dolomite lime works to raise the P.H.

  6. Ph up like TheAnswer121 says.   :ey:
