PH not constant

  1. High all,im growing 2 autoflowering plants in coco,1 and a half month into flowering under 400w HPS.2 gal pots were drying really fast so in the last few weeks i had to water them twice a day witch was very uncomfortable because i was unable to go anywhere for more that 10-12 hours.I decided to make a drip system to keep constant moisture level and not to have to hand feed them so often. My container is 3 gallons with drip system, but i noticed a problem...When i fill up the container i get the water to 5,8-6ph but when i check it after 7-8 hours (ever fewer) the Ph has gone up to 7-7,5.I thought it was because the container was under (not direct) sunlight and covered it,but the problem continues...So now i have a drip system witch i was hoping to make my grow easier and not have to come home every 12 hours, but i have to correct the ph every few hours so everything is basically the same and i did not make anything easier.....What may be the problem?

  2. Having same problem here to get advice

  3. Ok are you indoor or outdoor?.. 2,3gallons.. Why not use bigger pots? Larger pots +lots or perllite and u could leave them for a day or 2 85+ degrees no problem. I dont use anything smaller than 15 gallon as a final home ..
Speaking of perlite u will need a lot for a coco coor medium... also superb ph adjusting skills... i never was comfortanle leaving adjusted water laying around it does change easily

  4. Ok, with coco, the benefits are in using smaller pots. You will have to multifeed but that’s what makes this method grow so well. I autofeed out of a 55 gallon res. If I ph down to 5.5, it will rise to 6.5 in 3-4 days. I’ll drop the ph again to 5.5 and ride it out until Res change. A ph swing, within range is good to make sure all essential nutrients are getting absorbed. You may want to try ph a little lower to see if it stabilizes within range

  5. I was growing in 5gal pots, but it takes a lot of time for the seedlings to fill up the pots and start growing. The 5 gal pots retained much more moisture and i had to feed less often,i decided to try smaller pots to see whats the difference and other than having to water more often-i dont see any.I thought my PH down was the problem but i will drop the ph a little bit lower and see the results.
