  1. Hey I am thinking about grabbing a ph ev/ other stuff 5 in one meter. Does anyone have expirience with this model? Any negatives you can think of other than price?

  2. pH and EC meters are a definite yes if you are growing hydro.
When I started I used the small pH meters like the one in your pics.
But you have to keep them wet after first use, preferably in a pH buffer solution. Over a few years I went through quite a few pH meters for one reason or another mostly because the accuracy went off.
Then I bought a fixed pH meter, the type they use in Aquariums, it even has an auto on off setting, that I use to add acid to the tank via a very small pump if the pH gets too high.
From memory it was about $100 but it has ended so much playing around to get the pH right it was worth it.

  3. All the monitors I saw like that were close to 300-500+ u.s. dollars. So I agree I would love one of those but this was as high end as I could afford right now.
