Hello GC, I have currently noticed my souls oh level increases more as my rapid test meter hit near the roots close to 8.5-9.3. I was wondering how I would be able to correct this back to the normal 6.5-7.5 levels. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

That looks like "handling" damage. Also keep in mind that leaves will show "irregularities" almost all of the time. It's natural. What you want to be diligent about is noticing these irregularities and then WAITING to see if it's spreading to other parts of the plant. So many new growers flip out when they see something that doesn't look right, and then compound the "problem" by adding this/that or flushing when there really wasn't an issue to begin with. Just saw your plants in your other thread. They look good! Keep doing what you're doing.

To fix the ph level add a little citric acid to your water so its at about 7 to bring it down slowly and as your soil gets closer to 7 water it with water at 6.4 ph (or whatever ph you want your soil to be) you just dont want to bring it down too fast or you can damage your plants badly.
