PH imbalance?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Spaced, Jan 2, 2013.

  1. Ive been using a POS analogue ph meter, which is what leads me to believe this would be a PH issues (plus the occasional tacoing leaf).

I've got a few leaves like this on a few of my plants.

    Any insight would be helpful.

  2. I'm rusty on these things and was never that great to begin with, but take a good look (with magnifier/loop) on the underside of leaves and look for pests, probably spider mites if it is.

The other thing that comes to mind is a possible calcium deficiency. Regardless, if you think your pH meter isn't accurate you should make sure to take care of that as it may very well be causing the problem.

  3. No its not pest damage, im aware of that. Theres no mites in there, the more i look at it the more i realize it is simply just a ph issue

  4. Yeah its most definitely a Cal def. Due to ph lockout. Ill fix it haha.
