I just bought a PH tester but it is the kind that you have to put water into a test tube and then put some drops into it. Is there anyway I can test the soil with this PH tester? or should I return it and get something different?
you know when you water your plants and some water end up at the bottom of the plate of your pot? Take that water end
yeah but the thing is that the water that drains out is a little brown and your suppose to compare the color of the water with this strip that comes with the ph tester and whatever the color matches up with is the ph level. So I dont think it will give and accurate result. The PH tester is suppose to be for aquariums
that test kit is more of a guide line for what you ph is at if you want to be accurate get a digital one they have em from pretty cheap to way expensive
