hi guys....ive ph adjusted some tesco mineral water for my seedlings with phos. acid. My problem is this...after about 24 hrs,the ph is rising back to original...and higher!!! wtf am i doing wrong guys? using a digital ph pen to measure with.could it be because i'm pumping air in? or is the airstone somehow disolving? i've tried mixing it with tap water 50/50 and re-adjusting but same is happening raised from 5.6 back up to 6.5 in a matter of a few hrs and rising as i write(i also changed to my usual water tub just in case) tesco water=ph 7.0 local tap water 7.3 trying to drop to about 5.8-6.3 raising up to 7.4 in 24hrs when dropped to 5.6!! help
Are the walls and tubes in your res slimy? Is the water cloudy? Is it foamy? If you have any of those symptoms then you've got a bacterial infection. Follow this link.
