I'm in the UK, a lot of them have bad reviews on amazon and i'm unsure of the main brands that everybody trusts. Could anybody shed some light? I have about £10-15 for the PH and i'm not sure for the PPM but cheap or a combination of the two if it's more sensible. Thanks.
I use Hanna meters There are a lot of decent budget meters on Amazon though, I would read through the reviews posted on Amazon. Look at "HM Digital" meters, they are cheap and (some) have over 100 reviews on Amazon. You'll get decent info that way. My Hanna pH meter is in the $60-$70 USD range, so a bit out of the budget you're looking for. I've had just as much use out of $10 meters as I do with my Hanna.....so don't let price be the indicator of quality
