I put a few little guys into veg yesterday. I took ph today, leaves where turning yellow and PH was 5.9-6 . I'm not sure why the PH dropped so much, I do know I'm lacking in some nutz!! I took four pictures of the ones in bad shape.Could it be a MAG deficiency? Potassium deficiency? If you have any ideas as to what they need please share. Temps-78 RH-40 Dirt-fox farm ocean, only in Strawbey Cough. Promix, only in G13 Apallo Northern Lights. Feeding-big bloom, grow big, both from Fox Farm. Strawbery Cought are the small plants in picture, G13 Apallo Northern Lights are the taller,skinner plants in pictures. Thanks in advance, for this much needed help.
you need to get that ph up to 6.5. 5.9-6 is more of a hydro range ph. you're getting some of your nutes locked out because of the ph being off.
I understand. I just wasn't sure if I should flush and just add mag OR flush and re-feed the full dose?
don't flush at all. just feed when it's time, and allow for a good 20% run-off. this will act as a mini flush and should straighten things out for you. don't pay attention to your run-off ph. just ensure you properly ph "everything" you put in/on your plants.
1 of my plants is doing the exact same thing, growing in straight coco with cns17 grow and calmag+......showed up like 1 or 2 days after the very first time i fed them(last wednesday), havent watered or fed them again until today....not really sure how to combat this either, are you growing in coco?
its all about keeping your PH levels in complete check the ph will lock out these nutes, a good trick however buy sparkling mineral water high in calcium and magnesium i found one which contains almost all the secondary nutes plus its backed up with co2 i folia feed roughly 4 times a day keeps them very happy in deed and sorted out the same deficiency that i was suffering from
