Pet Rats are misunderstood

  1. I have 2 rats, well one right now because I have to bring one back to the breeder because it's sneezing and has a respitory infection. I can't get over how cute they are though, I really don't wanna see this one go but I just can't deal with a sick rat when I could just get another (i've only had these 2 for a day, i've had rats before though) I'm going to get an all white one probably, but i'll upload pictures tomorrow, it'll change all your minds about rats :smoke:

  2. Still wont

i had a pet rat as a kid, i think my mom won it at the fair or maybe she just bought it at the fair.. either way i had a rat and i fuckin loved that thing!! the amanda show was like my favorite show so i named it amanda lol. but she got like pneumonia or something and we had her put down at the vet. i cried soooo muchhh the vet like hand wrote this card to me sending me her condolences and it was pretty fuckin cool i kept it for a while but dont think i have it anymore.

edit- ^^^^ whoa whoa, its like a hamster only not fuckin lame. its not gross at all if you care for it regularly. i can see why people think they're gross but pet rats are ALOT different than street rats, either way different strokes for different folks.

  5. Fellow rat friend here :hello:! I LOVE THEM!! I currently only have one pet rat (cutest thing ever!!) as my oldest one passed away a couple of months ago. Respiratory problems as well. It seems they're very vulnerable to that sort of stuff. :(

  6. Guinea pigs are cute too

  7. had a few when I was little.

those things are smart as hell too, awesome creatures they are

  8. calling rats pets is just an attempt at rationalizing being lazy about a pest problem.

  9. come on mr vandalay defend the rats for me

  10. Roaches are also kept as pets.
