most likely a caterpilla or something. spray it with bug spray and put snail pellets around the base of it..
could also be rabbits same thing happend to me. mine were in the ground. best solution is to try and keep them off the ground forra wile and pee around the area. spread your sent so the lil fuckers know that if you catch em, youll kill em. fox urine works too.
