Personality, not really. My girlfriend swears she is dyslexic, but I doubt she is. I've got a seizure disorder that occasionally fucks with my moods, but either she doesn't notice or doesn't mind.
Yeah I think most of them haha I have been diagnosed with them too.I met this one girl with split personalities she denied that she was fucked up and then her ego split hahah
I'm pretty sure the girl I'm with now has fetal alcohol syndrome. So damn confusing, it's taking its toll on me.

OMFG! I was married to a woman for over 25 years and finally realized the reason I was so unhappy with her is that she has had borderline personality disorder the whole time. It is fucking awful. People with that disorder are usually AMAZING when you meet and while your relationship develops and then when they know they have you their true self comes out. It is especially awful because everyone who only knows them casually thinks that they're wonderful so you keep telling yourself it must be just you that has the problem and that this is the way a relationship goes. I finally met an amazing woman who showed me that I didn't need to put up with that shit and we have been together for four years now and the difference is night and day. Seriously, if you wonder where the nice, loving, empathetic sexual animal that you started dating has gone, look up the symptoms of BPD and you might be in for a shock. It was a counselor who practically told me my whole life story after hearing about my relationship for just a couple of minutes.
highly doubt it, it could very well be a different personality disorder or some other disorder all together, but people with full on NPD are borderline pathological.

fair enough, you know yourself better than i do, i just know that MOST people with NPD would not be speaking about it the way you are. you may have narcissistic traits and may very well have a different serious personality disorder that can cause all sorts of extreme behaviors, but NPD is borderline sociopath.
I'm bipolar..... which shares quite a few traits. And I have certain sociopathic tendencies as well. This shit is so hard for me to admit because i'm not a bad person.
they also have some major differences. ive read that people with bipolar disorder are often misdiagnosed as NPD, for what its worth. and nobody is a bad person for having any of these disorders, i know theres a stigma against them but you shouldnt worry about that. part of the reason i said i doubt youre NPD is that a major characteristic of NPD is a total lack of empathy, which from reading some of your posts i defintiely dont get that vibe, but again who knows from just cyber interaction.
I know that feel.... I have PTSD/bipolar II, I also don't know if I'm sociopathic or just conditioned not to give a fuck. I'm also rather un-social... Either way I just decided I would just quit hurting women with involved relationships, consigned myself to a life of occasional 1NS/weekend flings and growing old alone. Life isn't always fair but there is happiness to be found on occasion I suppose....weed n' porn I say.
My sister has BPD, and is very difficult to deal with; multiple suicide attempts etc. This other girl is similar, it's made me an emotional mess. The drugs probably don't help.
