I was watching Forrest Gump, and there was this really annoying-ass preppy kid named Brandon who kept making snide remarks like, "Please -- can I please have an IQ that low? Can I PLEASE be that stupid?" As we all know, Forrest, in the movie, wasn't that smart, even though he was incredibly successful at life. What that retarded Brandon kid was saying is that Forrest got lucky and succeeded out of sheer luck, and I find it very annoying to see how lost that person is. (I know it's much more productive to not get angry at this sort of thing, but I'll work on that problem later) As also seen in the fabolous book, The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, every human seems to have their own personal journey to follow (one of the reasons why there isn't one single answer to: what's the purpose of life?... everyone has their own purpose!). I don't think that Forrest was lucky, I think that Forrest grew up in a warm, loving environment that encouraged him to do what he wanted rather than grow up, go to college, get married, have kids, and then die, just like this person named Brandon is going to do. Think about this topic, how everyone has their own personal journey through life, and tell me your thoughts. I welcome constructive critisicm
