Personal BubbleBucket SCROG Screenframes.

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by BadAxe, Jan 31, 2011.

  1. So, I LOVE bubblebuckets, and I SCROG. I made my screen out of PVC and speakerwire and it did great. Except for one thing. I used one screen for 2 plants (2 buckets). Well, I had issues with my drain valve (ball valve) being sticky, and opening it would sometimes crack my bucket and cause a leak. Now this happened early on last grow, before my screen went in, so I was able to fix it without issue. But it got me thinking, if this happened a month into flowering, when i can no longer remove the screen, I am kinda screwed.

So I began asking a friend for some help. I am not good with designing and crafting stuff like that. I was not sure if he would come through. But he did. He is a welder by trade. The frames are stainless steel. He said its not an economic thing to build, as it would probably cost about $50 in materials to build, so not something to really market. But for my use, I think they will rock. I included enough pics so those of you that can weld can see what he did. They sit on the buckets real nice, even an empty bucket. They are very light, and very balanced. I just need to string them up, and attach them to my lids.

Figured this might help some of the community out. Portable scrog bubblebuckets. :D
