You would have FAR fewer issues if you clone in an EZ Cloner of a DIY clone bubble bucket and let the roots get to about 6" and transplant THAT into a netpot with hydroton. It can be done, but even the easiest method of removing the coco from the roots, then transplanting with cause the plant some degree of shock. Sometimes quite a bit.
