Perpetual Grow in same tent

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by Costat420, Jun 5, 2018.

  1. Hey, total newbie here. I am currently in week 5 flowering on my autoflowers. I wanted to start my next grow and wanted to see if anyone had some helpful insight. I'm looking to veg while I'm flowering. I am using a 5' x 5' Grow Tent Kit 600w HPS MH Reflector Fan+Carbon Filter Combo
I am on a 24 hour light schedule and using the Mh bulb. Any input would be great.

  2. hello i'm a new grower myself and light schedule for flower and veg. never grew auto flower. might bedeifferent. i'm running 12-12 for my flower. im in day 15. 18-6 ill be running while i flower my clones. am i doing it right guess ill find out. good luck brother.

  3. As long as you've got autos you should be good, just put the flowering plants closer to the light and make sure your feeding them all the right nutrients, keep your humidity lower as you're flowering, you don't want mold.
MH bulbs are better for veg, HPS for flowering but since you only have one area HPS will be a better all around bulb.

  4. Thanks, will the lower humidity still be good for the ones vegging. Also wouldn't i want the vegging (seedlings) closer to the light to prevent early stretching. Sorry supper newbie. I am growing all autoflower

  5. Low humidity is not ideal for veg but it won't hurt. If you're starting from seedlings in the same room you can get a humidity dome for them, they'll out grow it quick but it will keep them moist so they don't dry out so quick when they're small.
I don't think you'll have to worry about too much stretching, 600w HID's have a good area of coverage and penetration, if they do start stretching, you could add a couple of cfl's or a led panel over them. Keeping the flowering plants closer to the light will produce bigger and better buds.
