Perfect way to light a bowl

yea man I do that already I don't mean to be a dick but this is already common knowledge.

 

It's called cornering hits, it saves a lot of bud too. I hate smoking with people that just go pyromaniac on the weed instead of hitting it like a smart person wold

 

Cornering a bowl is defiantly the way to go. Its funny because you would think that any seasoned smoker would know not to torch the bowl but thats not the case. I burn with my friends pops all the time and he has been tokin since the 70's and he still torches the shit out of every bowl. Hard to complain when someone packs as much as he does thought haha! Anyone else that torches it gets skipped a hit

 

You think its bad when people dont corner, how about my friend who torches the entire bowl and sucks in like a hurricane. He wonders why he gets ash in his mouth too

Do not use a lighter. Butane will scorch your throat worse than weed, ruins the flavor for all us connoisseurs too.

I don't think he's talking about cornering. As far as I know cornering is just lighting one section of the bowl instead of the whole top of it so you get more greens and such. Doesn't depend on lighter distance etc etc. I may be wrong though about what cornering is but I doubt that as I don't do wrong.

What he's talking about is mainly just lighting the bowl without the flame touching the herb. I do this a lot cause I figure it goes like 'flame doesn't touch pot > pot not exposed to such an extreme temperature to be lit = less thc and such being wasted from such'

but the trick is not to even get the weed cherrying..hover it to the point where the weed is just browning and technically its like vaping a bowl.

cornering a bowl is definitely smart but i HATE when people get all dickish about it. i mean jesus christ it's weed. it is the cheapest drug out there. who cares if someone lights a bowl in a way that is more convenient to them or w/e?

 

weed isn't the cheapest drug out there. for the money alcohol would get you further, xanax would get you further, shit nitrous is cheap. I'd say its just cheap enough and has less of a stigma associated with it that it's use is more common. Ever heard that saying that weed has a higher value per oz than gold? Perscriptions are pretty cheap in comparison.

and you just gotta realize that cornering the bowl is pretty much expected social behavior wherever you go to smoke and with whomever, so adapt or recieve negative reinforcement.

 

ok well xanax in my town is about $3 a pill. For $10 you can MAYBE get 4. 4 xanax is how many i would take for a recreational dose. $10 of weed will last me at the very least two days unless i'm trying to just smoke a blunt or two. Alcohol is cheaper so i will agree with you there.

And i'm not sure where your from but for me accepted social behavior is just to smoke the damn weed and enjoy yourself. everyone will be high in the end so why should it matter?
