Perennial Marijuana ever possible by size?

  1. Now I've read some stuff, like the "Big Bad John (auto flowering)" [do a google search or a GC search] Seems kinda hoaky' to me... But what I was wondering what if a plant (sativa or indica) were to be big enough and strong enough, and sizable. Would it pass through till spring like a tree ever? They lose all foliage and then regenerate. Maybe thats why they use a ruderalis auto flowering typer with "BBJ"? I dont know. What if you could carry over and indica or a sativa for a few years to get it started, get a stalk 6'' or bigger in diameter would it take it?:smoking::smoking::smoking:

  2. BBJ is not a hoak, but I think the webpage didn't tell you how much bud it would produce (which is not a lot). Growing perennial plants are for fun. They are not practical if you like to harvest buds.

Actually almost all autoflowering plants are tender perennial (semi-perennial). This means the plant is born to be perennial, but once the condition becomes ideal, the annual genetic will be triggered and turn the plant into self-destructive mode and flower a lot.

If you keep an autoflowering plant under low light, it will not flower much but it will survive after flowering and in about six weeks it will grow out new leaves. BBJ is just an improved strain that will not be easily turned into annual. As a result the plants will never flower much.
