Some people believed December 21 would be the date that marked the start of the apocalypse. Others may have believed it to be the day that started a "perception shift" amongst the masses. The world is the same as it was before. A fucked up piece of shit with a hint of goodness in the middle. Not gonna change anytime soon, unless people act. Change doesn't happen without a catalyst..so why te fuck are people expecting it?
it is what you want it to be the shift has always been occurring and i believe that the date was simply a crescendo of energy... like chilltet said, it functions by the way people act (the way people act is based on perception) the way i see it, those worried about apocalyptic matters and who live in fear will start to experience realities worth being fearful of those who see the potential for change and seek the change for a harmonious way of living will be lead towards a path so that can occur
Maybe the date has/had no significance at all except to say on 21-12-12 the sky way exactly the same overhead as it was 5125 years ago. We all have the opportunity, daily and unceasingly, to change our perceptions. We don't need to wait for some esoteric date to do it. People need to stop sitting around and waiting for others/the universe to do the work that needs to be done among the human race. A date isn't going to unite us. A religious/spiritual leader isn't going to unite us. Some universal energy from the cosmic void isn't going to unite us. That's a work we have to do ourselves. Yet everybody decides to sit around waiting for some outside force. There is no outside force.
Yeah I don't think shit has changed or will. But at the same time I think humans go in Cycles of intelligence / barbaric , but I don't think we can know in advanced of what's to come

The Mayans never said anything was going to happen on that date. They said that the date would mark the entrance of our earth going into a new age. The age is characterised by wisdom and self learning. It is the age of Aquarius. There was in fact never a prediction of an apocalypse. It was a miscommunication on Mayans saying it would be an end to life as we know it. This was not meant to imply doom but great shifts in consciousness and awareness. As far as the calendar ending is concerned, that was just like an automobile odometer hitting 99,999 9/10 miles and rolling over to 000000. There was never anything associated negatively with that.

The dark forces were the ones who put a negative twist via the media (just look at the 2012 movie, axe commerical, various music videos) to provoke fear. As for December 21, it would seem that it is the beginning of the age of aquarius. It may also be the time when earth leaves the Iron Age and enters the Bronze Age. This I am not sure of, because I here so many different dates of when the Bronze Age begins. If you dont know, the Iron Age and Bronze Age are part of the Yuga Cycle. Everything in the universe is cyclical. We go through stages of waking up and falling asleep. We descend from the Golden Age, to the Silver Age, to the Bronze Age and to then to the Iron Age, before beginning the ascension once again. Dec 21 is also supposedly the completion of the equinox. All that matters really, is Dec 21 marks a change. It was never going to happen just at once, it is a process. Just like how enlightenment doesnt just happen, it is a journey. Humanity will gradually begin to wake up. Good times are coming. There is a lot more that could be written on Dec 21, but I dont know it all and to be honest, it doesnt really matter. All that matters is living in LOVE.
