Peppermint kush and LSD

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by SmokeyEyes, Apr 28, 2016.

  1. First time grower, was thinking of 5 PK and 5 LSD feminized seeds, any one who's grown these before could you tell me their yield and smoke and there easiness to grow, I live in Ireland so it's a cool
/ temperate summer, gonna plant mid May, recommendations will be appreciated to any easy to grow hardy outdoor strains aswell :weed:

  2. The yield is going to depend dramatically on a number of things. Water ability, nutrients used, amount of sun hours, pests and animals. Make sure your spots are pre dug, like if you wanna plant mod may dig the spots now add your nutrients now. Don't over due it though. You want the nutrients to have time to filter into the soil over the next few weeks. Some people slap a dead fish into the bottom of the holes throw a few inches of soil on top of that as it decays it ads OM to your soil. Soil is gonna play a key role. Check it out first. The consistency, is it clay, sandy, loomy, compacted, are there lots of worms (that's a great sign) once you figure out what type of soil you are working with you will know what you need to do to it in order to have a successful grow. If it's like clay and compacted you will need to losen it up add vimiculite, peat moss or perlite of its hard and clay like. You need to have air and lose soil in order for the roots to dig deep. Or you will end up with a stunted plant. Of the soil is nice and easy to work then your off to a great start. Add a little mutes as I said. Let it sit a bit, then transplant from there its up to how Much work such as creating pest deterents and watering your planing on doing. To keep deer and such animals from eating your plant when it goes into flower try blending up as much jalapeños, vinegar, chili powder or fresh chillis And water go around and spray this where ever you don't want animals at. After it rains you will need to spray again as it will wash away bit it works great. For pests like aphids, mites, mold. Use Neem oil. Buy a 8oz bottle of cold pressed neem (I use dyna grow) mix it accordingly, and spray once every Two weeks and you won't have any of those listed problems. Spray in the morning before sun or after full sun, and the undersides of the leaves are the most important. That's where the bugs lay their eggs. You do all that you have a good yield. Its hard to say how much, plants can get absolutely huge when growing OD PR they can be absolutely ravaged by nature. Hope this helped, and sry for grammatical errors.

  3. Thanks I'll try all that :) I was planning on using fish fertiliser in the soil, I was just wondering how much water do I mix it with and how often should I water the plants ? I'm gonna put them outside once they're about 20cm tall how deep should I dig up the soil and how far apart should I plant them ? Thanks for the help it's really appreciated :D

  4. Great strain choices for your area/climate. LSD is very potent and is a disease resistant strain that grows well in pretty much any climate. The Peppermint Kush is known to perform very well in cool/temperate climates. Both strains should be fairly easy to grow and both can be heavy yielders. The LSD I've smoked was a pretty intense earthy/musky flavor and smell with a strong head and body high. Peppermint Kush is sweety-earthy and sometimes a little minty. Also provides strong head and body high. In Ireland they should both probably be ready to harvest around late September.

For younger plants I would go with something like 1 tablespoon of fish to 1 gallon of water. 2-3 tablespoons per gallon as plants mature. You can check to see when watering is needed. If the top inch or 2 of the soil feels dry then it could probably use some water. If the strain(s) are heavy drinkers, and the amount of wind and sun the plants receive, the more often you may need to water. For hole size I would recommend a minimum of 2ft across x 1ft deep. 2-3x2ft hole would give you much better results. Digging big holes can be a chore depending on the soil type. If you're not into that you can always go with pots/containers. If you do decide to grow in the ground I would space the plants at least 3-4ft apart from edge of hole to edge of hole, not from plant to plant.

    Good luck
