Hey all.....i know i cant be the only person out there who in there life has had trouble putting weight on due to having such a high motabolism.
Was underweight for most my life untill last year i changed things in my diet.

First thing that i knew had to go was Drinking beer. beer with me speed up my motabolism.i cut right back to just having 1 or 2 social drinks when out once a week.

Next thing i stopped was eating fast food all the time and having more home cooked meals.meals like Steak and fish cottage pies sushi yougurt stuff like that.

Lastly what i started eating more of and excersize.............
I started a diet of porridge in the mornings and swallowing 6 raw eggs after that.tastes horrible but with a glass of milk it gets rid of the taste. Then id go for a 15 minute run come home and do weights for as long as i could.
Have a good filling lunch and then around 2 or 3pm have another 6 eggs.....do some more weights when you can. have a good filling dinner and then ice cream around an hour before bed.
also while snacking bread is always good for putting weight on the more snacks the better.

Iv posted about what iv done for the past 10 months because i always hear smaller ppl who hate there size going on about how they cant put weight on when its normally down to things in there diets.

Since iv done all that iv put on 35 pounds and still gaining more weight.....im not underweight anymore im a good all round average weight.Iv also passed the information on to a friend and its working the same for him.

And last of all the more weed you smoke the better because it makes you think your hungry when your not sooo feed the urge and snack as often as possible and even increase the amount of eggs you have.

  2. I have a lot of trouble bulking up. I think I might be 165, maybe 170 - I dunno. I'm 6'3.

I eat and eat, and nothing. I'm considering trying whey after my workouts now.

  3. a lot of people think protein is where it's at, but its all about your calorie intake. if you take in more calories than you burn you'll gain weight, simple as that(it'll be like 45% fat that you gain but its impossible to gain pure muscle unless youre on anabolic steroids).

A good thing to do is just drink one of those 2,000 calorie weight gainer shake in the morning and have a big breakfeast burrito, just do that everyday and you'll gain like 15 pounds in 7 to 9 months

Kallas, I've got to ask, when was the last time you had your cholesterol checked? Half a dozen eggs a day? What the fuck? And why not just scramble and cook them?

I have to disagree with the saturated fat you're including in your diet just to gain weight, but ending all fast food and starting to cook at home more probably more than made up for it. I'm one of the people who has this same problem... and now I'm vegan, so it's even worse. But I keep my weight up with tasty vegan meal shakes and some soy ice cream, so it's not too bad!

Good to see other people being healthy! Keep it up, your body will thank you.

PS - The grow is looking pretty good! I'm starting my first soon, an indoor hydro closet grow of a White Widow X Big Bud cross. Good luck on your grow, I'll be watching!

  5. I get my cholesterol checked everytime i go to the doctor (every 3 months) and its normal. its a myth about too many eggs being bad for you iv also asked 2 doctors.1 was my GP the other was a heart specialist at the hospital and they both agreed that having the eggs was fine even if it was near 100 a week.

im 6,1 and was around 135 pounds before i did this.....was hella depressed about my weight so decided to change i also had a bad drug habit which use to stop me from eating 3 meals a day.

i started this around june-july last year. Would of liked to of had weight gain shakes with tbe eggs aswell but im only a student on a student allowense and with the economy its out of the question cant afford it and id much rather have weed to give me the munchies.

im now 170 pounds and dont plan on stopping till im at least 180 and wouldnt want to go over 200.

and the diet isint all protein from the eggs i also eat alot of other stuff.

  6. Sorry for double post forgot to get back too you.

start using dumbells...start off by either having a bigmeal, eggs like i do or one of those weight gain shakes. then use the weights start off doing 10 with each arm at a time and slowly increase.
the more the better throught out the day and should start to bulk up

  7. yea i need to do that. i'm about 125lbs i'm just too lazy to keep up w/ the exercise and too poor to keep up w/ the food

ya it is tough, but I manage to do core and arms as well as being active and have put on almost 10 pounds of muscle :D feels much better than being super scrawny

smoke put on some music and try to get into it

  9. There's just a few things I'd like to clear up, please don't take this the wrong way guys...I'm only triyng to help.

As for the egg thing, that's great! Milk protein is a great way to cram in those extra grams of protein and it burns at a nice slow rate which makes it great for breakfast and right before bed. When you sleep, your body go into a catabolic state, which means that is searches for a long sustaining food source to consistantly devour while your body is in it's state of rest. If you do not consume a slow burning protein, or something with essential sat. fats/fatty acids such as cottage cheese, peanut butter, nuts, or milk your body will natrually start to burn your hard earned musle.

However, eggs are great for you...there is a downside to the way your consuming them. An egg in its raw form when drunk does not deliver the same amount of consumable/usuable protein that cooked egg does. From what I'm told by my nutritionist, the properties of the egg change when cooked and the protein grams are released from some sort of encasement that prevents absorbtion. Now you can take this information with a grain of salt...but I wouldn't advise cracking eggs and gulping them down like rocky, it's not the 80's anymore. ;]

Another thing, avoid those "weight gainer" shakes to bulk up. Those things are nothing but over-priced, sugary, empty caloried garbage. They have a ton of calories, but not all calories are created equal as I'm sure you know. Those shakes are apart of the "get fast" frenzy that many first time gym goers fall victim too, they are marketed well and attract people who aren't well versed on the subject. Insted of consuming those shakes which make your stomach feel like you just swallowed quikcrete, stick with something more sustainable. Get yourself your cottage cheese, whole oats, the fruit of your choice, your favorite whey(or casein protein if its morning or evening) and some milk and add all of those in a blender. Viola! You've just pounded somewhere around 500 cals of pure substance!

  10. a dozen eggs a day? christ, that's a shit ton

  11. Yeah i imagine cooking the eggs would be better but i couldnt imagine sitting down twice a day to eat 6 lots of cooked eggs. would be too hard and after having raw eggs for so long it puts you rite off eating anything else with eggs in.

Iv heard of people boiling 12 eggs and having them before going to work in the morning but to most people i imagine that being rather hard and time consuming

Studys in the past showed eggs wernt good for you in large quantaties but i think you will find alot of it is bullshit and new studys are showing that in large amounts they are fine........if a heart specialist at my hospital says its fine i think il belive him.

iv been having 12 eggs a day for 10 months now and i have to admit iv had ppl in my family worried that they wernt good for me and would cause havoc with my choleterol.
Im always getting it checked and its been normal the whole time that in itself prooves the myths are wrong and stuff is slowly coming out now about the myths of eggs and high cholesterol.

  12. Good point about just drinking the raw eggs, a dozen eggs is a lot.

I'm around 130 pounds, 6 feet tall. Underweight by most standards. I really need to make the change in my diet, maybe I'll take some ideas from you.
