  1. well we all know this bill will add a $50 tax to marijuana. but do you guys know how much an ounce would cost? i was thinking something cheap like 30 bucks right?

  2. Isn't shit at the vendor the same or higher than street price, like 20 a gram and shit? I don't think you'll be getting an oz of anything for 30 dollars.

  3. I thought if anything it would be more expensive than street value, or maybe just even with it.

  4. If marijuana is legalized huge crops can be grown in fields and warehouses (it'll be legal so they should have quality nutes and shit too). The reason club prices are so high is because it isn't being grown on a large enough scale and there is also the fact that they are the only ones you can legally buy weed from so they can push you in to paying more.

  5. yeah right now an ounce of "legal buds" (or dried random plants shipped in from some jungle somewhere) costs like 30 bucks

I personally think its gonna take time to get anywhere with this bill, but even though itll be expensive it will also be legal to grow, therefore you can grow your own. They might make it so that you need a license ( like sale of alcohol or tobacco) to grow/distribute, but still dude... its gonna be legal.

Were gonna have people mobbin to cali from everywhere to get some real dankity nuggets :D:D:hello::smoking:

  6. eventually, it'll get pretty cheap. right now its so expensive because of supply/demand rules. theres a huge demand, and once its legalized, supply will skyrocket. large fields, more people will start growing, you'll be able to buy it online, and there will be brands competing for business. Dispensaries are only as expensive as they are now because they have no competition. There's probably gonna be a ton of sites that you can order from online once its legal (look at how many salvia sites are out there, and not a lot of people even want that, and just about no one grows.) and if any want to stand out, they will lower their prices, which will force all other sites to match that to stay in business (or improve their quality, which wouldn't be bad either.)

  7. If they legalize it then it wouldn't make sense to price it higher than what it goes for on the street. The point is to fuck the cartels over so I'm thinking weed prices will be reduced by a significant amount, like half its current price.

  8. nah supply and demand. also the only reason it costs a lot now is because the fact that its illegal making it risky business and people wanting more bank for this risk
