Feeling like your head is melting doesn't sound all that weird to me. Probably not so much a feeling of literal melting so much as just feeling really heavy in the head area, which can definitely happen. Especially if you're on a large amount of edibles. Shit, man.

Well my friend felt like he's flying at times. When I first started 7-8 years ago I had the feeling of teleportation. Not like I transported across the room, but I wouldn't remember being in the position I was in. Or, my eyes would blackout and I would be like wtf....
