People getting jipped

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by The Cannabis, May 29, 2009.

  1. I have been seeing tons of postings about people getting "ripped off" by dealers.
    Any way here is some advice to help avoid getting ripped off.

    Dont tell him that you are new to smoking. If he asks how long you have been smoking just say, " A while."

    Buy a scale you have no idea how much this helps you in the ability of eyeballing buds. Also if you think a person might skimp you, but you think he is still chill enough for you to tell him that you have a scale, and can weigh your sacks out. One like the one below runs anywhere between $20 and $30

    Ask him/her how much he weighs his sacks out to. (Prices from my area [washington] Dub-$20-1.6-1.9g, 1/8th $40-2.9-3.4g, 1/4th-$80-6.8-7.5, ect...) I get shit hooked up to the gram though...

    If you think he's going to skimp you reguardless of what you say, just find someone else.

    Personally I could remember times back when I was younger buying sacks from a guy who I knew was going to skimp me, but I didn't care I don't really know why I didn't care, but whatever.

    Other members feel free to post advice here..

    THanks

  2. find a guy, perhaps a good friend or some one in ur circle of friends tahts legit and go threw him. i have 2 or 3 diffrent people in my circle that i can get 3.5 sacks from garenteed, then tehres a girp of other people int he circle that will only have 3 gram sacks so shop around find out whos good

  3. There should never be variables to 8th or quarter oz...it never changes...its static.

    3.5g=1/8 oz
    7g=1/4 oz
    14g=1/2 oz
    28g=1 oz

    Good idea on the scale.
    I got a very small one that works great to .1 gram, and can switch to oz as well (as most digitals should be capable of).

  4. Im not talking about that, I know that a 1/8th is 3.5
    Around here people say I need an 8th to someone and they hook they up with the variable amount. Im just saying thats how it is aroun dhere

    understood, just figured the numbers should go in the thread as well so all know.
    since it is reguarding being 'jipped', and considering the location of the thread itself being in apprentice tokers.

    wasn't meant to knock your post man.

  6. Maybe you could link us to where we can buy that scale.
