people hate on weed smokers because of all the misinformation they've been fed about how awful marijuana is and how amazingly socially acceptable alcohol is when they really don't realize the drink in their hand will kill them much much faster then the joint in yours.

Dude, I still deal with this kinda bullshit. I have this one friend, and she used to smoke weed and do other things. Well now she only drinks, and whenever she comes around she gets pissed off if people are smoking around her. It is kinda BS. Like, I don't care when she is chugging from the bottle, and yet she can tell me off for blowing a J?

Anyway, I feel your pain bro. Fuck em though, they are the ones poisoning themselves to catch a buzz while we are simply enjoying a flower.

I kinda understand now, but i would pretty much ignore someone if they didn't like me smoking. I could see if it was affecting their allergy's or they dont like the smell, that could be a reason I would not do it around them. Id just go outside though. I rarely have a problem with people complaining about me smoking tho, most people have tried/done it so they understand and are cool with it. Its 2011 ffs, who hasnt smoked pot.

 

Explain to them that the effects of Alcohol are much worse than the effects of smoking Marijuana. I smoke Marijuana, sit and eat, maybe play video games. My mom came home drunk at like 2AM one day when I am hanging out with friends and freaked out. She kept yelling saying the house was messy and threatened to "Kick my ass" (I weight 80+ more pounds than her and i'm quite a bit taller lol) and tried to break down my door when I wouldn't come out of my room. I eventually came out and she tried to take me down to the floor. It was funny, but at the same time it wasn't, because she was serious. When your drunk you become a whole new violent/clumsy person which is actually pretty damn scary when you think about it, when your high..your just an enhanced person. Hell, i'm super nice, but when i'm high im too nice. If i'm baked and you ask me for $20 and I had it...i'd prolly give it to you.

 

Yup, alcohol impairs judgement majorly, best thing to do is avoid drunks, if they persist, kick the living shit out of em and give them a real hangover. But it was your mom so you kinda had to take it. I think domestic violence was the one of the main reasons of prohibition.
