Pennsylvania Medical

Discussion in 'Marijuana News' started by AnonymousBuds, Feb 3, 2016.

  1. So I havnt found any PA groups on here. So I though I'd start a thread.
A background on me; I am from Michigan and was a medical patient and Care giver. I loved the Medical program but am 100% the end of prohibition first and for most. Reform is not what is needed nor are medical programs, but many feel medical is the first step to legalization. To each his/her own.
I stay as updated as I can on Pennsylvanian legislation(not just MMJ) I have loved in PA for about 6 months.

Sen. Bob Casey- Dem- votes no on MMJ http://www.casey.senate.gov/

Jr. Sen. Pat Toomey - rep- unknown vote. http://www.toomey.senate.gov/

Gov. Tom Wolf- Dem-votes on MMJ and decriminalization.

Robert Brady District 1- dem-1998' votes no on MMJ legislation. http://brady.house.gov/

Chakka Fattah District 2- dem-1995 votes yes on MMJ http://fattah.house.gov/

Mike Kelly District 3- Rep-2011 votes no on MMJ http://kelly.house.gov/

Scott Perry District 4- rep- 2013 votes no on MMJ http://perry.house.gov/

Glen Thompson District 5-rep- 2009 unknown on MMJ http://thompson.house.gov/

Ryan Costello District 6- Rep-2015 unknown on MMJ https://costello.house.gov/

Patrick Meehan District 7- Rep-2011 votes no on MMJ https://meehan.house.gov/

Michael Fitzpatrick District 8- Rep- 2011 unknown vote on MMJ http://fitzpatrick.house.gov/

Bill Schuster District 9- rep-2001 votes no on MMJ http://fitzpatrick.house.gov/

Tom Marino District 10-rep-2011 votes no on MMJ http://marino.house.gov/

Lou Barletta District 11-rep-2011 unknown vote on MMJ http://barletta.house.gov/

Keith rothfus District 12-rep-2013 unknown vote on MMJ
    https://rothfus.house.gov/

Brenden Boyle District 13-dem-2015 votes yes on MMJ https://boyle.house.gov/

Mike Doyle Jr District 14- Dem- 2003 unknown on MMJ http://doyle.house.gov/

Charles Dent District 15- rep- 2005 unknown on MMJ https://dent.house.gov/

Joseph Pitts District 16- rep- 1997 unknown vote on MMJ http://pitts.house.gov/

Mathew Cartwright District 17-dem-2013 votes yes on MMJ http://cartwright.house.gov/

Tim Murphy District 18- rep- 2013 votes yes on MMJ http://murphy.house.gov/

Any further Info you have would be helpful. As I am new to the state some info may be unknown. I am also trying to get a chapter or NORML in the City of Altoona, PA anyone interested please rally together and let's organize.

If you do not know your district just follow this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania%27s_congressional_districts

Then refer to previous links for contact info on your Districts rep. Ask their stance and tell them yours.

Thanks guys. (Also if any Info is wrong please correct)

  2. Hey man, I'm new on this site and just happened to stumble upon this thread. I am also from Pennsylvania and would obviously love if the day came where we could LEGALLY smoke and not have to worry about any bullshit consequences. I personally tried to contact my district congressman and discuss this matter, but to no avail. Damn, I hope we see some change within these next few years at the latest

Yeah, if Pa can't get serious MMJ talk on the table by Nov. I'm going to end up moving again. I can't stand not growing my own organic buds and tinctures. Thanks for the reply though. What part of PA are you near? I know NORML has chapters in Pit, Phi, and York

  4. New on GC and to Pa's MMJ program. Cards in the mail and like to here some patients views on the dispensaries, products and the little ins and outs of being a card holder. I'll be going to Beyond Hello in se pa. Can you visit more than one dispensary or are you locked into the one you get started at.
