Peep My 1st SCROG Attempt

  1. Okay, like I said, my first scrog attempt, so be nice, but let me know if I'm along the right path at least. And don't pay any attention to the little overwatering episode you might notice I had judging by some of the leafage. She's recovered nicely. I'm looking for more hints on my prunning underneath the screen and above. I'm also wondering when I should be letting them go UP instead of keeping them at a 90 degree. I'm into 12/12 now for 14 days, but I can't remember the timframe when she'll want to start "blooming". Make sense? Okay, critique away!! -- Timitsoo

  2. and yes, it is only a 1 plant scrog. Just practicing, so I figured one plant would provide plenty of practice. I was right!

  3. how high up is your screen off the soil?

  4. 12/12 will enduce flowering, if you started with a higher light ratio than that.

  5. I wouldn't of pruned it that much (unless you cloned the bottoms), but the tops will be good size this way.

  6. She's closed off for the night tonight, but I want to say 10-12 inches at the MOST. That's just what I read from some scrog sights. To far???

  7. yes, actually I got 2 clones out of the bottom. I was going for 4, but 2 didn't make it. I have some rave reviews from the folks that tried the mom and they were all positive. Hoping for more they were. So, I was hoping for more with this Scrog method.

  8. I'll shoot some more pics on Wednesday to show the progress. I woul appear that she's starting to want to just BLOOM. So, I'm letting her.

  9. bump? anyone else?

  10. I clone all the plants that I like. I never lose them this way.
Recently I decided not to clone my best outdoor NL, I decided to regrow it instead. Well the plant was too done, and I cut too much bud off of it (not to mention that I had to transplant it to fit in my room). Anyways the plant died and there went some badass genes. There are more where that came from, but that plant grew like crazy. I wanted to have a crap load of her cones. Oh well, never again. Next time I clone first and ask questions later. At least my best BB lived. :p
