I'm using majestic earth, and it's performing well with my veggies and herbs. Yes, you'll need to add lime to neutralize the PH. If you can get your hands on some oyster shell flour, even better. Happy growing!
That Peet Moss should work just fine. As far as lime, yes, you should add one cup per cubic foot of soil.
