PC Grow - Afghan Kush - First Time - Picss

the first was my birthday, so by the laws of anything cool, I command that seed to sprout!

 

How's she looking today?

I like the fact that us (Dubious, Mastermind, & myself) are 1st time growers, and that we are all on the same schedule pretty much.

Lets prove to the more experienced growers that 1st time growers can produce some good greed bud too

....with a little of their help that is

I have only x1 6500k cfl right now, getting the other 2 or 3 today or tomorrow. I threw in a 2700k until then for heat.. I wanted my fan on

Here's my predicament I only have space for 1 good sized plant or 2 medium and I have 3 growing. I need to eliminate one....

AK-47 X Lavender club clone got October 15th. It honestly looks like shit right now I topped it a couple times and it looks bad im hoping it comes back.



Another seedling I started ~ a week ago this one is AK-47 bagseed.

 

Just wanted to show the inside of my growbox, I think it's alot better if we all share in the same thread because when I made my own grow journal nobody commented haha.

EDIT: Think im gonna move OGKush outside untill it sprouts or i can figure out something because i just dont have the room arrr.



EDIT 2: Think i'm gonna smoke a bowl and try and figure out a way to attach my lights to the top of the box and just raise the plants. Blue Dream.

 

I hope y'all are growing fast because OG KUSh is peeking her head up finally. i removed 2 of my lights so i have 4 23w. cfls and i was able to fit 3 plants so well see how it goes

 

Dark period? I run my shit 24-7 only because I dont have a timer if i did id run 18-6. Im so bored man I have no car right now but at least i should be gettin paid today. im chillin out on my patio and the sun is shining bright in november? Shit i could be growing out here. I cant wait for April im definately taking advantage of this sun. Thought about maybe ordering some Lowryder autoflower seeds. Does anybody know about these? Can you really harvest in 2 months? How much yield?

By the way the Afghan Khush sounds terrific is that the one your growing? or the one that died? I love kush.

 

From what i've read it don't matter where the seed came from though as long as you grow it right.

 

Yeah it's looking like it's supposed to. The seedling part is the most boring part haha it gets funner.

 

Im just finishing my first micro setup and ill throw up some pictures. I just started germinating my seed today so I'll get off my ass and finish everything haha, It's the only way ill do it. Mastermind i think there might be a little too much heat for that plant thats drooping down, with those CFL's gone until flowering they should perk up. As for the timer... I don't know if you guys know what a christmas tree shop is...we have one out in mass but I picked up a timer there for 3 bucks.

You want as close to 100w per plant. I'm only at 46 so I def need another light or 2. I have a light timer that I purchased at lowes for only 10-15$ .. I could use it now for 18/6 but I would rather do 24/7 for the 1st time. Bought it for flowering

Have you guys had any pest problems? I think I seen either a gnat or white fly last night, but I might have been too high anyways.. for safety measures I'm going to buy some diluted neem oil after work.

Good morning. I don't work and I live on the left so i'm on here alot. I was just looking on my local craigslist and people are selling 150w. HPS for $45. Man if I didn't have so many damn bills today i'd pick one of these up plus it's my sisters birthday and shit so i gotta buy her a gift.

I just woke up and toked up and i'm heading to the lab right now to see how shit's coming along. I fed with Miracle grow Nutes last night for the first time on GunsNRoses(Clone) so we'll see how she re-acts. 28-14-8 or some shit like that i believe it was. High nitrogen so I mixed 1/8th strength for first feed.

I also took out two of my bulbs that were on the Y splitter and put my OG KUSH seed there which is barely sticking above dirt (all you can see is the seed case really)

Everybody I talk to tells me MORE LIGHT MORE LIGHT but I realized you need balance. Trying to keep temps down is sometimes a bitch gotta keep windows open. I feel like I have good venting though so maybe I need a bigger box for the grow im trying to accomplish.

Anyways enough rambling i'm headed to the lab.

The only pest i've really seen is 1 little green looking gnat it was a baby. Other than that just normal room flies I try not to take the plants outside too long and I keep a clean home so I hope I don't get caterpillars or spider mites in my buds.

Thanks for the advice man i'll take it to heart. Removed two bulbs and trying to keep temps way down. I know exactly what a christmas tree shop is man your on fire this morning . I actually have an amazing one right near my house and every year they hang a christmas tree upside down and display it with ornaments and all and it rotates its crazy. I think i'll head over there and see if I can't find a $3 timer. Great advice! Glad to see you growing with us too that way this thread wont die out when 1 person slacks off when there smoking there dank ass harvest :X

One more thing i've noticed is that this thread is NOT in the grow journals section if we want to get alot more people in on it and some real knowledgeable blades helping we should probably make a new thread in the grow journals? We should do this now while it's early and just put the link here for people to follow. I'll do it. PEACE.
