  1. Ryan: Don't interfere with legalized medical pot - Yahoo! News

DENVER (AP) - Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan says the federal government shouldn't interfere with states that have legalized medical marijuana.
The Wisconsin congressman tells KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs that he personally doesn't approve of medical marijuana laws. But he says that states should have the right to choose whether to legalize the drug for medical purposes.
In response to a reporter's question, Ryan said: "It's up to Coloradans to decide."
The interview was taped while Ryan campaigned this week in Colorado Springs and aired Friday.
Colorado is one of 17 states, plus the District of Columbia, that allow medical marijuana.
The Obama administration at first signaled that it wouldn't interfere with state-sanctioned marijuana distribution. But the Justice Department has since angered marijuana activists by shutting down dispensaries in California and Colorado.

  2. to bad it doesn't matter what he thinks. his master is firmly against medical marijuana.

  3. He's a joke. Colorado is a swing state. Republicans are losing in Colorado. He's going to pander to try to gain Colo support. Mitt would die before allowing any kind of Marijuana legalization.

  4. Mitts got a boner for prohibition.

  5. read this, didnt believe these scums, uhh what?

  6. I'm STILL not voting for those fucks!

  7. IT'S A TRAP!!! And its agreed it doesn't matter what he thinks. He is the Vp pick not the one who can do anything about it. Don't let them distract you from what you need to focus on.

  8. He helped vote for many of the things he's apparently against now that he's with Mitt. The guys a bitch.

  9. What this guy says...

Wonder if him coming out saying that will get any comments to come out of Obama's camp. Guess it wouldn't matter anyways considering he came out and said the same thing a few years ago and there's been more federal interference with state's that have MMJ programs than under GW

  11. Its smoke. We've heard this already from the POTUS and look how that turned out.

  12. Except Paul Ryan DIDN'T vote for any bill that would give states rights over medical marijuana. Look at his voting record...

  13. Wow, say what you will about Obama not following through on promises made, but I don't recall him lying to us EVERY TIME he talks. This Romney/Ryan duo is the biggest set of liars I have ever seen running for president. You can't believe a single word that comes outta their mouths!

  14. I think Ryan and Romney are the cancer, not the cure.

  15. Paul Ryan opened a can of worms by bringing this up. I really hope this comes up in the debates. This is going to end up biting him in the ass when the media starts questioning Mitt about it and he has to say he doesn't agree with his own VP.

  16. Bush was for state rights too.
But then again Obama has already busted many more dispensaries than bush ever did in 8 years.
We needa get back to presidents who like blowjobs and who you know blaze erryday
    CLINTON! haha
damn im baked as fuck either way though this election is pushing america farther down the ladder

  18. And people still want to vote for both flip floppers as if they are not lying to straight to their faces.

"The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie--deliberate, contrived and dishonest--but the myth--persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." - John F. Kennedy (Commencement address, Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, June 11, 1962)

  19. Anyone remember the words "abject failure" coming out of the mouth of one Barry Obama in reference to the drug war pre-2008 elections. If this doesn't take the cake as an example of saying whatever it takes to get elected, I know not.
NEITHER of these corrupt parties are to be trusted in any capacity. (On anything.)

Notice Mitt today? "Oh, I'd keep parts of Obamacare..."
Their words mean nothing. All lies.
