    Listen at around 1:38 when he talks about Sneak&Peek search warrants. Of 763 requests in 2008, only 3 were for terrorism! 65% of Patriot Act sneak&peak were drug related.

    And yea, not a huge surprise. Have you seen the CATO videos about the contracting of paramilitary organizations to help with the "War on Drugs"? Civil liberties, who needs those.

  5. It shouldn't come as a surprise that the Patriot Act would be used in criminal investigations, particularly in the case of the drug war. Anything that threatens the authority of the state must be stamped out and the state will use whatever tools they have available to do it.
