Passing A Military Drug Test

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by forgotmypassword, May 3, 2014.

  1. I am finishing up my senior year of high school (dont worry, im 18) and I want to enlist in the Marine Corps after graduation. I stopped smoking pot about 5 days ago, and im really anxious to speak to a recruiter. I have been told that recruiters drug test you before the actual military drug test, and I just kind of want to know whats a good timeline to go by before i speak to a recruiter, when the THC is undetectable in my system. Im 5'9 181 pounds 14% bodyfat, I do a lot of excercise, mostly cardio (boxing)  with some weight lifitng and I sweat a lot, to the point where my shirts are soaking in sweat. I want to  speak to him the 20th of this month , is that enough time for the pot to be out of my system, enough to pass a drug test? Thanks in advance, and if you need any extra information just let me know, I know its different for everybody but I'd like to have a general idea of when to go by, I am planning to buy a walmart drug test before I even step into a recruiters office.

  2. Take the summer off and talk to one come August or September.  You just graduated, have some fun man (no weed though).

  3. Im trying to get into the Delayed Entry Program so I can leave in August or September. I know that if im in the DEP it'll just give me more motivation to not smoke, whereas if im not I think I might relapse

  4. Id give yourself a month. You can also order cheap piss tests on amazon or eBay. Better safe than sorry. The military is great but it's a bad thing to have on your record if you fuck it up. So be patient and just don't smoke.
