Cliff notes: Had a saliva drug test today (Saturday), smoked Thursday night, ~34 hours clean. I just felt I should post this since I know plenty of people freak out about getting tested, as I was a bit worried. So I had my 2nd interview at Costco on Thursday and was clean for 3.5 days when I went in. I've worked there before and knew they sometimes offered you the job and drug tested you on the second interview. Well, they didn't. The interview went well and he said he'd give me a call sometime next week, between Tuesday and Wednesday. So I went home and thought 'fuck it, I've got plenty of time' and popped a Soma, smoked two 1.5g blunts of some mids between 6pm and 8pm, went home and took about 4 hits of some danks at 11pm and eventually went to sleep around 1am. I get up the next morning and they call at 9am asking if I can come in at 1pm. I really didn't think I could pass so I got them to reschedule for the next day (today) at 10am. I was a little worried since I smoked a bit, but it ended up working out as I just got home from getting tested. Got me a decent paying job for the next three months. I know these tests aren't really reliable but maybe somebody can get some comfort out of reading this. I was working out all week and played some tennis yesterday. I usually drink lots of water anyways, brush my mouth well and use mouthwash. Before I got there I dissolved some Certs (mints) on the right side of my mouth, this might have helped, but I think it's pretty reliable to just not smoke for 24 hours and clean your mouth well.
