So I only made an account on here just to share my experience and what worked for me. Sorry if it's in the wrong section. But a few months back I applied for a really good job but they didn't call me till 2 weeks ago. Now I suspected that they did DT but I couldn't find anything online saying that they did. So I assumed that they didn't anymore or never did to begin with. So I continued to smoke like always. So I had my phone interview and then 3 more interviews in person until they said that they'll hire me but I just have to do a DT within 24hrs. So in my head I'm freaking out because I never had to take one before. So I've asked friends what methods did they use. One used a pill bottle and wrapped hand warmers around it, one used synthetic urine, one bought a detox drink from GNC, another microwaved a pill bottle, and another used test tubes. And I'm like nah, there has to be an easier method. So I looked on here and read that some people used non-lubricated condoms along with other things attached to it. So I went out and bought a pack, I couldn't find any non-lubricated ones so I just wiped the lube off on the ones I bought and practiced for the rest of the day. So what I did was fill the condom with water matching the temp of urine which is 90-100 degrees. It temped at 93-96 the whole time I practiced. You also need 30ml-45ml of urine. I tied the end with a rubber band and put it in my underwear against my crotch and checked it every hour for a few hours and it stayed at the perfect temperature. I then used a pin to poke a hole through the tip and let the water out. I then practiced everything straight through a few times like I was at the testing center and timed myself while doing it. You have to do all of this within 4 minutes, which isn't hard. Just take the condom out from your pants, poke a hole in it and let the pee out. So the morning came for me to do my DT and I wasn't feeling nervous at all anymore. I got some clean pee from a family member and put it in my underwear. I wore tight fitting shorts over that and sweats over that for added warmth. When I got to the place I was seen within 20 minutes which was great because I read that you have to use the urine within the hour. The nurse told me to pick out a cup to pee in and that I would need to fill it up to the 45ml line. So I did what I practiced and knew that I passed because a green dot appeared on the cup and on my donor paper it said that the urine was received within 4 minutes and was within 90-100 degrees. So all I had to do now was wait for the call. I was honestly a bit nervous because I thought the latex or lube would come up in the test but it didn't. And if it did I was gonna say that I had sex that morning lol. But 2 days later I got the call from the job saying that I passed. So yeah, this works and now I know what to do if I ever have to take more tests in the future. Hopefully this helps somebody out there like this helped me.
