If you have ever had PTS, I'm curious about length of acute phase, if it was initially suspected as cervical radiculopathy, and what happened after the acute phase. If you would like to share your whole story even better. I was left by my Dr with a it might be this so you need to do this, but it might take to long to get to see this Dr so your arm might go paralyzed. So watch out for that. (That was my translation of the conversation in a bit of a panicked mindset). Doing medical research on Google isn't the best way to inform yourself of something that may or may not happen but I literally don't know who to talk to about it. My Dr gave me Prednisone as a prescription and said that if it didn't help with the pain in my shoulder it wasn't PTS. Well guess what FUCKING SHOULDER HURTS LESS. What does that mean? Does that confirm it. She admittedly knows almost nothing about this because she is just a general practitioner and she has been incredibly busy. Nobody to blame just stuck in limbo. Im convinced at this point this is what I have but I'm aware that my mind is not functioning properly from lack of sleep. I've gotten some sleep thanks to the help of others on here, I can tell it's still not enough. So I've been sitting here stewing. Figured maybe typing it out and sharing might make me feel better. if you actually made it to the end of this thank you, I appreciate it. Any advice is appreciated. Or I guess should I pray for neck surgery or PTS. Kind of hard to pray if I don't know what I want. Sent from my BE2028 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
And I get these periods of some type of block where my body just will not absorb anything. I have consumed so much cannabis today I should have been in a freaking coma by lunch time. Now it would be like bed time and I have no signs of Anything. I can't reasonably think of anything for it. Then it seems to pass and everything is normal. I made the hallucinating hash capsules from BNW. One worked just fine and two got me stoned for a while. Today since lunch time Ive been taking multiple little handfuls I can grab out of a zip lock and counting those, 1 handful, 2, 3, take a break to finish swollowing the massive amount of pills. Because your pain decreased after taking prednisone doesn't mean it was PTS. Prednisone decreases inflammation from any cause, no matter how minor or severe. If you're actually taking massive numbers of hash caps then you have a severe tolerance problem or they're not potent for some reason. Do you know how many mg THC you need to take in a commercial edible for a good stone? What would you say is the dilution rate of your hallucinating hash oil by weight? I mean how many grams of hash did you use and what was your total weight when you were finished? I'd say since prednisone is a much more powerful anti-inflammatory than THC or CBD, take the prednisone then augment it with the hash caps instead of only taking the cannabinoids.
Thanks for your response. This morning when I woke up trying to figure out how to get through today better then yesterday, the block is gone. Don't know why but it is. This has happened a couple times over the last few weeks it just doesn't usually last however ridiculous long that one was. So not tolerance or poor quality weed. For whatever reason something is going on. The steroids do help so I will definitely keep taking those. Still left in the dark about what the whole concept was about working and not working with the steroids but my Dr has something she has in her mind so either way nothing I'm to be doing is changing as of yet. The pain in the shoulder has definitely been decreased so it makes it easier to be patient, but there is still something wrong with it. Its almost like is sitting in the wrong place, not a lot but enough to make it feel really strange. My whole arm seems to be uncoordinated all of a sudden. Like even when I'm watching it move and try to do things it's not moving the way it's supposed to. Then the loss of sensation in part of my hand and forearm add a nice touch to that. I've had nerves get pinched and do some crazy things but this is weird even for that. I was hoping someone out there had some type of experience with PTS just to put my mind at ease I guess. Thanks again. Sent from my BE2028 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
