  1. ok you know how parents are allowed to serve their kids alcohol? well, are they too give them cigarettes too, i mean to smoke is only 18, drink is 21

  2. Parents can server there kids Alcohol?

  3. At least where I come from...mom told me first time I was drunk, I was 5...last christmas I saaw dad give a tiny taste of wine to one of me nieces (2)...guess it's all in our culture....

As for smoke...dunno...at least dad used to send me 'round the corner to get cigarettes from the machine when I was a kid...

  4. mmh, I see what you mean. But, why would you want your children to start smoking?

  5. lol its still illegal for your parents to give you any kind of alcohol but no one really says anything cause they give you such a small amount that its not even going to do anything.

I've never seen parents though buying there young kids ciggarettes though that would suck

(( OMFG ITS GOING TO STORM AGAIN TONIGHT AND I HAVE TO DRIVE TONIGHT FUCK YOU STORMS!!!!!))

  6. no actually, unless various state laws change this to their descrestion, parents in the US are alowwed to give their kids alcohol as long as its in their home and they stay there under parental supervision

  7. I think the law changes from state to state. I'm in MN, on the border with WI, and I waitressed for a while and I had quite a few people come in ordering drinks for their kids cuz in WI the the law says that legal parents can buy and serve it to their kids, I think 15 or older, maybe 11???

    I should look it up.

  8. Lmao...poor guys...where I come from, you can buy beer at 15 haha

  9. Where are you from?

  10. Grew up in Germany...

  11. That's cool, my husband's been there a few times and loved it :)

Ok, just to clear up the mystery, I looked it up:

    http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/people/injury/alcohol/Community%20Guides%20HTML/PDFs/Public_App7.pdf

It's an acrobat file, I hope the link works.

    What was the OP...

    Ok:
I actually think that kids should be able to buy with a parent present. For one, rules like that should be made by the parents and change from family to family and for two, I would hope that the parent has educated the child on tabacco use and it's consequences.

  12. in ny anyway, you can consume alcohol
1)under the supervision of your parents. this is mainly for religious reasons.

2)for a class. certain classes use alcohol to cook, i know my college also has a beers of the world and wines of the world class.

as for tobacco, you have to be 18 buy but there is no age limit for you to smoke.
