Well I don't know about you guys, but my parents would kill me if they knew I smoked cigs...they would absolutely lose it and they're about to find out. I just got home from school today to visit for 2 days before I go back (couldn't get more work off) and I was driving home from my sister's apartment and someone swerved right in front of me and I dropped a cig and an ember landed on my dad's driver car seat and burned a hole in it. Tomorrow is really gonna blow when he heads out to his car to go to work. I don't know if I should deny it or not...it's not a huge mark but it's noticeable at first glance. I've never been caught with cigs before and I threw them out so I have none on me...but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't believe me if I denied doing anything. Also I forgot to fax my college class schedule to get out of Jury Duty I'm assigned to (it's tomorrow morning) and I'm hoping if I fax it later in the afternoon tomorrow I'll be okay with not having shown up. Shitty day..hope yours was better. I'm just sitting here waiting to take a bunch of heat from the rents tomorrow. I shouldn't have even come home to visit.
And you are how old? I really don't think it's any of their business anymore since you don't live under their roof. I wouldn't deny it because it had to be you. A lie is not the way. But you should have respect for them and not smoke in their cars or house. That's what I'd be peed about if you were my son. Respect!
Well I'm 21 but they'll be pissed as hell knowing I smoke, and REALLY fucking pissed that I smoked in their car (all windows were down on lake shore drive..wouldn't have smelled). I guess I'll just tell them when they ask yeah it was me someone swerved in front of me and I dropped it and and the cherry landed on the seat. They'll be real pissed but whatever. ...funny thing is I've smoked probably thousands of cigs and bowls in my own car back in Kansas with no mishaps and I've probably smoked no more than 5 cigs ever in my dad's car and this just happens to be the one I drop. Fuck me.
Your parents probably already know you smoke, but haven't said anything... it's something that's pretty hard to hide. Just tell them the truth. That's what I'd do, anyway. They are probably just as embarassed about talking to you about it as you are...idk. I could be wrong
a few days after I got my car I was driving home smoking a cig in it...and later that night my mom wanted me to drive to dinner in the new car which I was not expecting. She made a comment about how it smelled like smoke and said the previous owners must have smoked (even though my dad and I test drove it so he knew this was false and he was with us that night ha). Awkward. Another time my mom gave me a hug and my north face reeked of cigs because I was at a party all night with people chain smoking inside. Didn't expect here to be home that night but she was and she said it smells like smoke and I said well no one has been smoking and she said okay and that was the end of the conversation. Awkward again ha. Come to think of it...maybe they actually do know...
You should just save yourself the hassle of getting cancer and/or lung problems and stop while you are young. That's one thing I never understood.. How people that smoke knows what it does to you but they still do it. Seems like a very stupid habit if you ask me. Your parents just want what is best for you, they love you so therefore they do worry about what you do to your body. Take that from a mom. I am dreading the day my son goes to high school.. Cause that's when all the experimenting begins and I know what kinds of things were there for me at that time and I have no clue what bad stuff is going to be out by the time he's in HS. There are so many new things 10 yrs after I graduated stuff I've never heard of.. This is my biggest concern..

I didn't think my parents knew I smoked cigarettes or weed, and I always thought they'd say something immediately if they suspected such. Turns out my mom has known for ages, she just never said anything. Parents, moms especially, usually know a lot more than we give them credit for...
i guess my parents are clueless. when they caught me smoking wee dthey were totally suprised even when I think back I was SCREAMING with every action that I was on pot.
yeah my mom knows I smoke bud and doesnt care but if she knew I smoked cigs id be on the curb right now
