    It gets tiresome having to borrow pipes and use up friends' papers and shit every time I want to smoke, so I've decided to get my own pipe, grinder, roller, and papers.

    Only problem is money. And I have no clue where I can get a grinder.

    I've thought of simply selling my extra copy of Halo Reach, but I have no buyers.

    My question to the good folk of Grass City is where to get a grinder, and how to get that stuff without causing suspicion (I don't smoke tobacco very often at all, maybe once a month, and I don't want any cashier thinking I'm going to smoke unfiltered tobacco through a pipe). And maybe how to convince people to give me monies for said product.

    Go to Google and type in local Headshops around (your area here), and it would save you the trouble of dealing with the postal service.

    Since you live in Cali there should be at least one headshop in your town if not more. You can buy grinders, papers, pipes etc from there. About the cashier thing, who cares? The cashier doesn't know you so what's the problem.

    I haven't really seen any headshops in my area, unless I'm just not looking hard enough. There are a few smoke shops, and there's a general store within walking distance that sells pipes n shit.

    As for the cashier thing, I have this problem with caring what other people think. x.x

    Hmm, You should probably check with those smoke shops in the area they should have what you're looking for. What part of Cali do you live in if you don't mind me asking. About the cashier thing, I feel it though.

    you seriously need to get over that. Might as well quit smoking, im sure plenty of people would think that...

    Just man up and go by a pipe or something, couldn't be any worse than buying small condoms:p

    like that other guy said google headshops in your zipcode. and as for the cashier: they work in a headshop. people go there for paper pipes and grinders all the time. thats kinda what its there for :3. they wont say a thing because chances are theyre baked. peace&pot

    if you really want to smoke, youll get a pipe. and not worry about what some random cashier is going to think about it.. i have a gas station that whenever i go into she hands me a white owl blunt right off the bat cause she already knows. they are there to be sold, so the workers not going to care if your buying one of their products whatever it is. if anything they probably smoke too.

    I'm in the Mojave Desert, SoCal.

    I usually don't care what anyone thinks, but in the case of tobacco most people I know would judge me if I even started, so I'm a bit sensitive about it, and I am aware that I need to get over it.

    I feel less weird buying stuff at the head shop cause like people said- it's their job there- they sell it to everyone. Other place I like is a weird little news agency and smoke place- they also sell a ton of porn so I figured people in there are buying stuff a hell of a lot stranger than I am. They also sell grinders- they are usually novelty ones - look like mini beer cans and stuff. Other place I go to is this old dilapidated 5 & 10- I know the old dude there cause I go in for other stuff too and he thinks I get them to clean my flute keys (actual use for rolling papers- there are probably other you can find to if you want an excuse and with the novelty kind of grinders you can just say you think it looks cool) but really you usually won't need to say much - sometime I even just point to what I want and say Thanks. Have you ID handy in case the placer wants to check you age-that varries a lot. good luck

    what a coincidence. So is every other person who has troubles acquiring paraphernalia, etc..

    Pretty sure a man could buy a pipe without worrying what the cashier,
    who just so happens to work at a headshop thinks...

    If you doubt my age I don't have a problem proving it in PM.

    I'm not talking about headshop cashiers, I'm talking about general stores and smoke shops that aren't supposed to sell weed products.

    The only time where I knew for sure that the employees of a public place were stoners was when my neighbor took his daughter and I with him so he could get a tattoo.

    The entire tattoo parlor REEKED with the aroma of cannabis smoke.
