Paraphernalia laws in legal states

Discussion in 'Marijuana Legalization' started by Burrito Wizard, Jul 2, 2019.

  1. I tried doing some research on the subject and couldn't really find any answers. In states with legal weed obviously weed is legal and you can carry it with you (albeit I think you may need special containers and whatnot depending on the state).

But what's the deal with paraphernalia? Like could you walk around with a pipe or vape that's been used? It may sound silly to ask because it seems like it should definitely be a 100% yes but I'm asking because I couldn't find anything that verifies if it is or not.

  2. Interesting. I’m guessing as long as it wasn’t strictly prohibited in a place and/or it wasn’t being used in public, I don’t think in most cases they would make a big issue if the weed is legal.
I’m not a lawyer but I’ve read an ass load of Perry Mason books.

  3. When I was in Maryland I got a ticket for possession of marijuana and got in more trouble for the paraphernalia (one hitter).
