i've grown this once (i'm a novice grower) pretty low grow profile (compared to the euforia i had growing alongside) out of 5 seeds, 3 germed, 1 was a mutant i killed off. yield, taste and high are all solid. (tastes just like LA confidential imho) here is a pic of one of them if you got a Q, ask away - if i can, i'll answer!
I got a five pack on the way as we speak. I havent tried growing this strain but the picture looks very nice! I cant wait to see if my buds look like the ones in the picture. I am planning on some pineapple express next I think.
we had it but they were from someones breeding project and the phenos werent very solid. very fluffy almost airy very leafy nugs.. massive amount of trichs though. made some great hash too. tasty and smelt great. if it harvested more with denser nugs i'd love it but we killed the phenos we had. edit; didnt really look like troys as far as the density. it was always very fluffy and super leafy. never that dark. like i said probably just the phenos but it turned me off growing the strain...
yeah, mine were not fluffy/leafy. i'm not gonna grow the strain again, but i'm not disappointed either.
I read alot of good things about this strain. I site says its supposed to taste like ice cream with a THC count between 15 to 18% and that it can be grown out or in.....in my case im growing it outdoors. Along with the IC from Paradise seeds I also purchased Opium, another top pick from PS. I've planted 3 IC from a 5 pack and one germed and sprouted very fast. I also started the opium at the same time and 3 out of 3 germed and sprouted.....Now there veging and the opium is double the height (maybe thats the sativa dominance coming out). And the IC i have is alot shorter and more wide. I chose the ice cream cause a friend grew it last year and it was some of the best outdoor Mj i ever smoked and it tastes excally like vanilla ice cream with a hint of skunk, and the smoke was very potient, between two avid smokers we couldnt finish a joint.....thats when you know its good. Ill have some pics up soon as i get the motivation to start my 2010 grow log....stay updated.
