Stupid question but.. I have 4 seeds in paper towels when they're ready to be moved do I put them into root riots under light or not? If so how close I'm using 400W HPS. If not, what happens if leaves/stems shoot up from root riot while not under light? I haven't decided whether I'm using coco or root riot. But if I am using coco to start should I use perlite also?
Mate its up to you use root riot then pot wen roots break through least that way you can see its rooted.. or straight into pots. In soil i transplant twice small medium then large
If you are Germinating in a paper towel and are going to transfer to a root riot cube, be extremely careful not to damage the taproot.
